Annual indoor soccer tournament for Melbourne's music community.
Front Left Cup is an annual indoor soccer tournament that brings Melbourne's music labels, venues and hospitality crews together for a (very) competitive day on the pitch. A collaboration between Skylab Radio and Ultra Football, the event is now in its third year and expanding into a second bracket as more teams join the fold.
The project sits where football culture, music and grassroots community meet — local, inclusive and intentionally a little absurd. It's one of the clearest examples of Skylab's wider mission of taking the station's online community into physical space.
