SUGAR MOUNTAIN SENSORY

An immersive dining experiment with Daniel Arsham, SURVIVE and Pete Gunn.

Sensory was an experimental dining event staged in partnership with Sugar Mountain Festival in January 2017, described at the time as 'an immersive restaurant experiment'.

The project brought together New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, Texan composers SURVIVE — known for the Stranger Things soundtrack — and award-winning Australian chef Pete Gunn. The result was a fully integrated dining environment where video, lighting and original music became part of the hospitality itself. I managed the project as event coordinator, devising service protocols that could work within a conceptual experience brief, designing seating maps for 360 diners across eight sittings, and managing front and back of house teams through the resets.
